Speaker 0: In a world created by Mike Dell, I guess you would call it Mike Dell's world. And that's what it is called, Mike Dell's world. Number four twenty one for 11/15/2025. And, yeah, I got a late late start. It's like 09:30PM on the fifteenth, so we're back up to real time here. Spent the last two days, finishing up outdoor yard work. It's been unseasonably warm and not rainy, not snowy, not anything else around here, so it was a great opportunity to get things done. So yesterday, I spent, all day, Friday. Took day off work and spent all day out at my mom's house, getting the leaves removed from around the house and getting the tractor mostly converted over to wintertime. Although, I took it over to the John Deere dealer, I'm gonna let them do the pre winter checks, and then I'll, get it all configured for snow removal. Hopefully, won't need that anytime soon. Next week looks like it's gonna be rainy and in the forties, but, that's a whole lot better than it has been. Standby. Okay. There we go. Had a little break in the action there. I might edit that out. I might not. Anyway, so, yeah, I spent all day, you know, on and off the tractor, on and off the leaf blower, and got a good majority of the leaves removed around the house, out at mom's and got the leaves dumped out in the backfield where where we can use them next spring on the asparagus patch. So it's, so that was good. And then, and at the same time, my brother-in-law came up, and, he he did our, front yard here at our house. And unbeknownst to me, I didn't know he was coming up. But, anyway and then today, he and I both spent most of the day moving leaves in the backyard. So our we our leaf situation is, I would say, 80% because there's still a good 20 to 30% of the leaves still up in the oak trees, but those fall winter. So that's kinda normal. So hopefully, they don't make too much of a mess. But, man, we got a lot of looft and got a five foot pile of leaves over in the corner. We have a spot in our yard where we have brush and leaves and it's just like one corner and we don't worry about cleaning that out. No sense moving the leaves anywhere. They all pack down anyway. You know, by next spring, it'll all be packed down by the snow and, just natural. And did a few other little things, I got some landscaping done, I guess would be the right term for it, alongside my office. A little bit of a drainage problem, so I dug dug a bit of a hole and, and filled it full of I was trying to get crushed gravel, but, apparently, none of the big box stores have that anymore this time of year, but I did find some river stone. So we got about 200 pounds of river stone, and, that should alleviate the drainage problem alongside my office here in the backyard. In case you guys didn't know, my office is a 11 by 11 on the outside, but 10 by 10 on the inside, shed structure that is well insulated and heated and air conditioned and powered and, you know, just like another room, but, separate from the house, which is kinda nice because I can come out here even though there might be crazy stuff going on in the house and do a podcast or work or play on the ham radios, whatever. And, yeah. So that's the story. That's why I'm quite late, today on my NAPOD promo post, but I'll get this, sent up, as soon as I can. And I'll I'm probably gonna record tomorrow's episode, which will go out in the morning. And this is gonna be all about radio and, radio as far as, you know, radio stations here in Traverse City and maybe some of the history of them and all the stuff, but, we'll see. And then, later on this month, I'm gonna do one about ham radio. And I might record that tomorrow morning. Not not the the actual episode, but maybe some, examples of ham radio since there's one foot and a half away from the microphone. So might be able to record some, some ham radio conversation, and, that might be interesting. It might not, but, hey. Gotta gotta put out content for Nippod Pomo, and we are halfway done officially as of right now. Catch me tomorrow.
