Speaker 1: But I will restore you you to health and heal your wounds, declares the lord, because you are called an outcast, Zion, for whom no one cares. Jeremiah thirty seventeen. I wanna start today's episode entitled Healing Begins with One Yes. Healing is often a journey, not a moment. It begins the moment we stop resisting and say, yes, Lord. Heal me. And sometimes, we expect healing to be instant. But God often heals us layer by layer. Healing thoughts, emotions, our identity, our hearts, which people have broken, and sometimes things that have been hidden that we don't even realize are still there. Because of your situation, your circumstances, or maybe even the decisions that you have made or someone else has made for you, your heart might still be bruised, and maybe it is crushed. But remember, with God, all things are possible. It doesn't matter how broken you are. No level of your broken is beyond God's repair. The God who created you is the same God who can restore you. Healing, therefore, isn't just God's ability. It's his desire. Here's food for thought. When you think about the brokenness in your life, consider what are the places in my heart that need healing and that I'm too afraid to confront. Once you can address that, lay it on the throne and leave it there. And remember, when you give it to him, know that you don't have to go through it alone because it hits his good pleasure to restore your health and heal your wounds.
