1
00:00:02,240 --> 00:00:03,379
The Lord Almighty

2
00:00:03,839 --> 00:00:06,259
grant us a peaceful night and a perfect

3
00:00:06,319 --> 00:00:06,819
end.

4
00:00:07,120 --> 00:00:07,620
Amen.

5
00:00:08,505 --> 00:00:10,105
Our help is in the name of the

6
00:00:10,105 --> 00:00:10,605
Lord,

7
00:00:10,905 --> 00:00:13,005
the maker of heaven and earth.

8
00:00:14,025 --> 00:00:16,364
Let us confess our sins to God.

9
00:00:17,350 --> 00:00:19,289
Almighty God, our heavenly father,

10
00:00:19,670 --> 00:00:21,910
we have sinned against you through our own

11
00:00:21,910 --> 00:00:22,410
fault

12
00:00:22,710 --> 00:00:25,425
in thought and word and deed and in

13
00:00:25,425 --> 00:00:26,964
what we have left undone.

14
00:00:27,824 --> 00:00:29,904
For the sake of your son, our lord

15
00:00:29,904 --> 00:00:30,724
Jesus Christ,

16
00:00:31,184 --> 00:00:32,804
forgive us all our offenses

17
00:00:33,259 --> 00:00:35,019
and grant that we may serve you in

18
00:00:35,019 --> 00:00:37,579
newness of life to the glory of your

19
00:00:37,579 --> 00:00:38,799
name. Amen.

20
00:00:40,059 --> 00:00:43,024
May the almighty God grant us forgiveness of

21
00:00:43,024 --> 00:00:45,504
all our sins, and the grace and comfort

22
00:00:45,504 --> 00:00:46,645
of the Holy Spirit.

23
00:00:47,344 --> 00:00:47,844
Amen.

24
00:00:48,704 --> 00:00:50,670
O God, make speed to save us.

25
00:00:51,149 --> 00:00:53,329
O Lord, make haste to help us.

26
00:00:54,030 --> 00:00:56,210
Glory to the Father, and to the Son,

27
00:00:56,509 --> 00:00:57,954
and to the Holy Spirit,

28
00:00:58,274 --> 00:01:00,535
As it was in the beginning, is now,

29
00:01:00,675 --> 00:01:01,975
and will be forever.

30
00:01:02,515 --> 00:01:03,015
Amen.

31
00:01:03,554 --> 00:01:04,055
Alleluia.

32
00:01:05,395 --> 00:01:06,375
Psalm 91.

33
00:01:07,609 --> 00:01:09,530
He who dwells in the shelter of the

34
00:01:09,530 --> 00:01:10,349
most high

35
00:01:10,729 --> 00:01:12,909
abides under the shadow of the almighty.

36
00:01:13,609 --> 00:01:15,765
He shall say to the lord, you are

37
00:01:15,765 --> 00:01:17,625
my refuge and my stronghold,

38
00:01:18,245 --> 00:01:20,505
my God in whom I put my trust.

39
00:01:21,445 --> 00:01:23,445
He shall deliver you from the snare of

40
00:01:23,445 --> 00:01:25,920
the hunter and from the deadly pestilence.

41
00:01:26,780 --> 00:01:28,799
He shall cover you with his pinions,

42
00:01:29,180 --> 00:01:31,840
and you shall find refuge under his wings.

43
00:01:32,465 --> 00:01:33,204
His faithfulness

44
00:01:33,745 --> 00:01:35,605
shall be a shield and buckler.

45
00:01:36,385 --> 00:01:38,465
You shall not be afraid of any terror

46
00:01:38,465 --> 00:01:39,204
by night,

47
00:01:39,549 --> 00:01:41,890
nor of the arrow that flies by day,

48
00:01:42,430 --> 00:01:44,689
of the plague that stalks in the darkness,

49
00:01:45,310 --> 00:01:47,709
nor of the sickness that lays waste at

50
00:01:47,709 --> 00:01:48,209
midday.

51
00:01:49,015 --> 00:01:49,674
A thousand

52
00:01:50,454 --> 00:01:51,834
shall fall at your side,

53
00:01:52,215 --> 00:01:53,034
and 10,000

54
00:01:53,734 --> 00:01:56,215
at your right hand, but it shall not

55
00:01:56,215 --> 00:01:57,275
come near you.

56
00:01:57,909 --> 00:02:00,629
Your eyes only have to behold to see

57
00:02:00,629 --> 00:02:02,009
the reward of the wicked.

58
00:02:02,709 --> 00:02:05,049
Because you have made the lord your refuge,

59
00:02:05,384 --> 00:02:07,164
and the most high your habitation,

60
00:02:07,944 --> 00:02:10,125
there shall no evil happen to you,

61
00:02:10,504 --> 00:02:13,324
neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.

62
00:02:14,219 --> 00:02:16,960
For he shall give his angels charge over

63
00:02:17,259 --> 00:02:19,439
you, to keep you in all your ways.

64
00:02:20,139 --> 00:02:22,685
They shall bear you in their hands, lest

65
00:02:22,685 --> 00:02:24,784
you dash your foot against the stone.

66
00:02:25,485 --> 00:02:27,405
You shall tread upon the lion and the

67
00:02:27,405 --> 00:02:27,905
adder.

68
00:02:28,284 --> 00:02:30,444
You shall trample the young lion and the

69
00:02:30,444 --> 00:02:31,905
serpent under your feet.

70
00:02:32,580 --> 00:02:34,760
Because he is bound to me in love,

71
00:02:35,219 --> 00:02:37,080
therefore will I deliver him

72
00:02:37,460 --> 00:02:40,420
I will protect him because he knows my

73
00:02:40,420 --> 00:02:40,920
name.

74
00:02:41,504 --> 00:02:43,905
He shall call upon me, and I will

75
00:02:43,905 --> 00:02:44,724
answer him.

76
00:02:45,265 --> 00:02:46,724
I am with him in trouble.

77
00:02:47,185 --> 00:02:49,344
I will rescue him and bring him to

78
00:02:49,344 --> 00:02:49,844
honor.

79
00:02:50,500 --> 00:02:53,000
With long life will I satisfy him,

80
00:02:53,379 --> 00:02:55,479
and show him my salvation.

81
00:02:56,739 --> 00:02:59,079
Glory to the Father, and to the Son,

82
00:02:59,284 --> 00:03:00,665
and to the Holy Spirit,

83
00:03:01,284 --> 00:03:03,365
as it was in the beginning, is now,

84
00:03:03,365 --> 00:03:04,824
and will be for ever.

85
00:03:05,205 --> 00:03:05,705
Amen.

86
00:03:07,044 --> 00:03:08,585
A reading from Hebrews.

87
00:03:09,750 --> 00:03:12,229
May the God of peace, who brought again

88
00:03:12,229 --> 00:03:14,710
from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great

89
00:03:14,710 --> 00:03:15,849
shepherd of the sheep,

90
00:03:16,310 --> 00:03:18,090
by the blood of the eternal covenant,

91
00:03:18,495 --> 00:03:21,135
equip you with every thing good that you

92
00:03:21,135 --> 00:03:22,275
may do his will,

93
00:03:22,735 --> 00:03:24,895
working in you that which is pleasing in

94
00:03:24,895 --> 00:03:27,235
his sight through Jesus Christ,

95
00:03:27,560 --> 00:03:30,760
to whom be honor and glory forever and

96
00:03:30,760 --> 00:03:31,260
ever.

97
00:03:32,120 --> 00:03:33,500
Thanks be to god.

98
00:03:34,645 --> 00:03:37,205
Into your hands, oh Lord, I commend my

99
00:03:37,205 --> 00:03:37,705
spirit.

100
00:03:38,405 --> 00:03:40,884
For you have redeemed me, oh Lord, oh

101
00:03:40,884 --> 00:03:41,784
God of truth.

102
00:03:42,789 --> 00:03:44,789
Keep us, oh, lord, as the apple of

103
00:03:44,789 --> 00:03:45,610
your eye.

104
00:03:46,310 --> 00:03:48,870
Help hide us under the shadow of your

105
00:03:48,870 --> 00:03:49,365
wings.

106
00:03:50,325 --> 00:03:51,385
Lord, have mercy.

107
00:03:51,925 --> 00:03:53,064
Christ, have mercy.

108
00:03:54,004 --> 00:03:55,064
Lord, have mercy.

109
00:03:56,405 --> 00:03:58,425
Our father, who art in heaven,

110
00:03:58,939 --> 00:04:00,240
hallowed be thy name.

111
00:04:00,620 --> 00:04:01,840
Thy kingdom come,

112
00:04:02,139 --> 00:04:03,360
thy will be done

113
00:04:03,659 --> 00:04:05,439
on earth as it is in heaven.

114
00:04:06,125 --> 00:04:08,384
Give us this day our daily bread,

115
00:04:08,685 --> 00:04:10,384
and forgive us our trespasses

116
00:04:11,004 --> 00:04:13,985
as we forgive those who trespass against us.

117
00:04:14,500 --> 00:04:16,439
And lead us not into temptation,

118
00:04:16,899 --> 00:04:18,839
but deliver us from evil.

119
00:04:20,100 --> 00:04:21,560
Lord, hear our prayer

120
00:04:22,019 --> 00:04:23,959
and let our cry come to you.

121
00:04:24,745 --> 00:04:26,365
Let us pray. Look

122
00:04:26,985 --> 00:04:29,865
down, oh Lord, from your heavenly throne and

123
00:04:29,865 --> 00:04:32,685
illumine this night with your celestial brightness

124
00:04:33,319 --> 00:04:35,720
That by night as by day, your people

125
00:04:35,720 --> 00:04:37,819
may glorify your holy name

126
00:04:38,120 --> 00:04:40,139
through Jesus Christ our lord.

127
00:04:40,519 --> 00:04:41,019
Amen.

128
00:04:42,665 --> 00:04:45,404
Keep watch, dear lord, with those who work

129
00:04:45,464 --> 00:04:48,345
or watch or weep this night and give

130
00:04:48,345 --> 00:04:50,365
your angels charge over those

131
00:04:51,009 --> 00:04:51,829
who sleep.

132
00:04:52,529 --> 00:04:54,149
Tend the sick, Lord Christ.

133
00:04:54,529 --> 00:04:55,910
Give rest to the weary.

134
00:04:56,449 --> 00:04:57,574
Bless the dying.

135
00:04:58,134 --> 00:04:59,275
Soothe the suffering,

136
00:04:59,654 --> 00:05:00,715
pity the afflicted,

137
00:05:01,254 --> 00:05:04,134
shield the joyous, and all for your love's

138
00:05:04,134 --> 00:05:04,634
sake.

139
00:05:05,014 --> 00:05:05,514
Amen.

140
00:05:06,589 --> 00:05:07,089
Intercessions

141
00:05:07,389 --> 00:05:08,129
and thanksgivings

142
00:05:08,589 --> 00:05:10,290
may be offered at this time.

143
00:05:14,824 --> 00:05:17,305
Guide us waking, oh lord, and guard us

144
00:05:17,305 --> 00:05:20,205
sleeping, that awake we may watch with Christ,

145
00:05:20,425 --> 00:05:23,084
and asleep we may rest in peace.

146
00:05:24,060 --> 00:05:26,479
Lord, you now have set your servant free,

147
00:05:26,620 --> 00:05:28,720
to go in peace as you have promised

148
00:05:29,259 --> 00:05:31,180
for these eyes of mine have seen the

149
00:05:31,180 --> 00:05:31,680
Saviour,

150
00:05:32,064 --> 00:05:34,144
whom you have prepared for all the world

151
00:05:34,144 --> 00:05:34,805
to see.

152
00:05:35,345 --> 00:05:37,824
A light to enlighten the nations and the

153
00:05:37,824 --> 00:05:39,605
glory of your people Israel.

154
00:05:40,629 --> 00:05:43,050
Glory to the father and to the son

155
00:05:43,189 --> 00:05:44,569
and to the holy spirit

156
00:05:45,110 --> 00:05:46,490
as it was in the beginning

157
00:05:47,030 --> 00:05:49,129
is now and will be forever.

158
00:05:49,764 --> 00:05:50,264
Amen.

159
00:05:51,365 --> 00:05:53,764
Guide us waking, oh lord, and guard us

160
00:05:53,764 --> 00:05:56,665
sleeping. That awake we may watch with Christ,

161
00:05:56,725 --> 00:05:59,064
and asleep we may rest in peace.

162
00:06:00,029 --> 00:06:01,649
Let us bless the Lord.

163
00:06:02,110 --> 00:06:03,330
Thanks be to God.

164
00:06:04,029 --> 00:06:06,129
The almighty and merciful Lord,

165
00:06:06,474 --> 00:06:08,414
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,

166
00:06:08,875 --> 00:06:10,894
bless us and keep us.

167
00:06:11,354 --> 00:06:11,854
Amen.
